New Populism and Responses of the 21 ˢᵗ Century

CHRIST (Deemed to be University) in Bengaluru with other collaborating institutions is organizing an International virtual conference. The conference seeks to define, debate and redefine the recurring populism in the 21ˢᵗ century.

 

The international virtual conference on the theme New Populism and Responses of the 21st century seeks to define, debate and update the recurring forms of populism in the 21st century.

The aim of the conference is to bring the experts from the different disciplines to discuss around the theme, which will enhance the understanding of the changing facets of Populism. The outcome of these discussions will be converted into publications. The organizers are planning to publish a reference work and conference proceedings of the selected works.

This will give an opportunity for the participating institutions to network and collaborate on research and publication.

The conference will take place 24-25 September 2021.

Call for papers

General Guidelines
  • In view of the pandemic, the current conference will be on a virtual platform.
  • Abstracts on any topic related to Populism are welcome under any major tracks for the conference.
  • All the submissions will go through a selection process by the Scientific Selection Committee (SSC).
  • Participants must register for the conference only after receiving confirmation mail about their abstract acceptance.
Timeline
  • Abstract Submission: 1 July 2021
  • Abstract Selection: 15 July 2021
  • Full Paper Submission: 15 August 2021
