Meeting with the delegation from European Commission
Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) India office facilitated a South Asian Delegation to Europe on the theme of Water Resource Management from 09 March to 13 March 2015. A follow-up meeting of this Delegation took place with a delegation from European Commission at HSF India office Delhi on 28 May 2015.

The meeting was about the new initiatives taken in the fields of waste and water management in India and exploring potential areas of cooperation between European Union and India in the field of water management, sanitation, solid and fluid waste management. The meeting included the discussion on current policy framework, local initiatives, people’s awareness, government’s willingness, institution and capacity building for the water and waste management in India.
The participants expressed their willingness to carry forward the discussion in a fruitful manner to pave the way for constructive future collaborations.
